Information about data processing for recruitment purposes

Sano - Centre for Computational Personalised Medicine - International Research Foundation. with its registered office at Kraków Czarnowiejska 36, Poland (European Union) as a controller of personal data informs that data of persons seeking employment at Sano Centre, which were inserted into recruitment forms or recruitment documents including into resume and cover letters will be processed in order to conduct recruitment process and undertake related activities.


Personal data will be processed for the purpose of certain active recruitment processes or future recruitment processes (provided that the candidate expressed an adequate consent).


The basis for the processing of personal data pertaining to persons participating in recruitment processes, including for collecting of such data, constitutes art. 6 (1) let. c of the General Regulation on Personal Data Protection of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”) art. 6 (1) let. a of the GDPR. The legal basis for collecting of personal data is also included in art. 221 § 1 of Polish Labor Code. Providing personal data set forth in this article is necessary in order to participate in the recruitment process. Providing other personal data such as for example a photo of the applicant is not obligatory and the processing of such data is based on the consent of the candidate expressed by sending such data to the controller in response to a recruitment advertisement-then basis for the processing is art. 6 (1) let. a.


Your personal data shall be processed in the course of the present recruitment process and, in the case of expressing additional consent, your personal data shall be processed for the needs of future recruitment processes until you revoke the consent, no longer however than for the period of 3 years. In the case of completing the recruitment process, if additional consent has not been expressed for the future recruitment processes or in the case of revoking the consent on data processing for the needs of future recruitment processes, your personal data shall be processed exclusively in the form of archiving, for evidence purposes, for the period provided for the expiry of the time limit provided for bringing actions which shall amount to up to 3 years.
