We are looking for passionate, motivated, brilliant PhD graduates (recent and pending) to join us as Postdoctoral Fellows and key contributors to our Centre. Sano is a new nonprofit research institute dedicated to the advancement of computational medicine, developing data science methods for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.

What do we require?
As our successful candidate you should have:
- recent or pending PhD in relevant field of science (computer science/biomedical engineering or related fields);
- knowledge of data science tools, such as Python or R, SQL and noSQL databases and digital notebooks such as Zeppelin or Jupyter.
- at least one first-author research publication in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, topconference or currently in press ideally in the field of data science;
- ability to think critically, work independently, and solve complex problems;
- interest in pursuing applied medical research in a multi-disciplinary environment;
- excellent written and oral English communication skills as the main language in Sano is English.
Our offer:
We offer a fixed term contract for 40 hours per week for the duration of 2 years. This will be supported by an educational plan that includes attendance of courses and (international) meetings. The contract will include opportunities to participate in teaching and supervision of undergraduate and master students.
The salary, depending on relevant experience before the beginning of the employment contract, will be up to 12000 PLN gross per month, based on a full-time contract (40 hours a week) for the duration of 2 years with private medical care and a sports card.
